It is a company wide policy, can’t go after anyone. He broke the rules by chasing the guy into the parking lot. Idk the exact rule but it’s basically that you can’t go after anyone.

Not uncommon. Both my parents worked at HomeDepot. They can’t stop a shop lifter or any criminal.

This is a way of coping though. He’s expressing his feelings instead of bottling them up inside. Some people write letters and send them or burn them, some send emails, some send Facebook IMs.

We also don’t know how long the kid has been dead for. Maybe he’s already got help. You don’t know. People cope and grieve in different ways.

That’s why I stayed with my dog, and will always stay with my pets. He was very ready to go, you could tell. Injection wasn’t even half done before he was gone. But I was gonna stay. He had been there for me in the hard times. I wasn’t going to abandon him in his time of need.

It broke my heart, being there. But I stayed. I stayed and pet his head and talked to him. Told him to rest now, it was okay. I told him thank you, and I loved him. And that he was a good boy. I sang “Jesus Loves Me” to him like I used to do when I was a toddler.
.
I did all of this between the injections. The first one is to relax them, make them sleepy. And the second is to stop their heart.
.
I treasure those 5-10 minutes the vet gave me alone with him between the injections, no matter how much the memory stings
