I just love that he doesn't even ask for the wifi. They just know he will want it and just go ahead and give it to him.

But it says "you blow me hard"... Do they mean the adverb and not the adjective?

Yeah I see where you're going. I was thinking the subject of the sentence would be the same throughout and that subject was the mother but yours makes sense.

I don't know if this is better or worse, but I actually shut up myself because my friends had worse problems. I had good grades, my parents loved me, my future seemed decently bright, and everyone said I was smart and talented. Some even called me pretty. My friends didn't have what I had. So I thought I had no right to complain. I actually starting having mild mental breakdowns and panic attacks, but it took a long time to actually tell anyone because they had it worse and I thought I was being a whiny little bitch. But eventually, I did open up. I started telling my one friend who has divorced parents, grades on the edge of failing, and severe self-esteem issues about why I never complained, and actually had her tell me that no one is supposed to face things alone and my problems were valid. Since then, I have started talking a lot more and my mental health has mostly stabilized.

I feel like there should be a way to identify oneself at the beginning of these sorts of conversations. Like an introduction with names. The captain should have realized it was a lighthouse.

(Character limit) not their fault, but often a result of where they came from. Besides, if someone is desperate enough to break the law, I don't think they should be viewed as horrible people. We do not mean to devalue legal immigration, we just want illegal immigrants to be seen as people and not some invading threat to our nation. We are fighting a bias, and I apologize if it makes us sound like we are biased ourselves.

1. America is known as the land of opportunity. As odd as it seems, our country was actually originally designed to allow poor immigrants from other (admittedly European) countries to get ahead. Even if this is harder now than then, it's still what we're known for, so we have a lot of people coming. I don't quite understand it, but then, I'm not an immigrant, and I will not choose their country for them.
2. Because third party and write-in candidates hardly ever make office. We literally have a political system designed to have two parties. Only once in history has a president been from a third party, and that was because one of the parties collapsed and was replaced (1860). So yeah voting otherwise is often considered throwing your vote away because whoever you voted for would never gain enough support to make it. It's stupid, but that's how it is.
3. I will not choose which jobs immigrants take. But they're new here, and some don't know English or have a higher education, which is

For the play I'm in we have to put foundation on the guys, and if their hair is too long it's gets put into an adorable tiny ponytail right above their forehead to stay out of the way.

My friend once called me from the band director's office because she needed a ride and her phone was dead, and apparently he heard me when I picked up, which is unfortunate as I answered the phone swearing. He was cool about it.
