Those last few powers sound like Necromorphs

Necromorphs don't make use of biomass, iirc, they just mutate their own dead bodies

They pile bodies and use the biomass to make larger Necromorphs like Brutes and Tripods

Woah, I just thought the bosses were multiple necromorphs clumped together

Yeah and the final boss of the first game is thousands of corpses piled together

I need to go back and replay, I've replayed Dead Space 2 so that's fresh in my mind

Sorry for dragging everybody back to this, but what would be a good light related power? So far I've used pure light, reflections & glimmers, and solar powered lightning

Light is sort of based on the visible and nonvisible spectrum to my limited knowledge. Perhaps one could generate illusions of a sort, like mirages. or one could have their skin be reactive to the level of light in the area, if they soak up enough lumens they could project the energy as really intense flash heat, or dissipate it like a laser. They could also be negatively affected by absence of light, like being turned to stone if they don't soak up enough to last them through the night.

Making tangible the shadows produced by the light, making light solid, making surfaces absorb 100 percent of the light which hits it, making surfaces completely reflective

Ooooooo I like the idea of solid light.
Since I'm on the subject, what about a unique power for darkness too?

Partial spatial manipulation? Sort of like portals but only able to project parts of their body through, like an eye, and arm, through a shadow to another. Able to manipulate non-living material through their shadows, so they can tie someone up with a jacket that they're wearing? Or project an aura around themselves inducing fearful emotional states?

I've used all 3 of those lol. Good suggestions though

Being able to appear instantly from the side of any object that people can't see, being able to appear within any place which is pitch black, creating a sphere of darkness around you that even the user can't see out of
