Too many times free speech is thought to be a magical phrase to free you from the consequences. The govt can't punish you for it, but employers, passerbys, private and public individuals can decry or report you all they want to their heart's content.

You can still use your your freedom of speech when you don't have a home, job, or social life.

Your story about the child seems to be poor as it was by an unknown individual who the child may not have trusted and likely done in a very crude way which is incomparable to how a trusted parent would explain it. Not to mention that the trauma is likely due to people telling the child its entire life that sex or it's child equivalent is bad. The idea that because something can potentially damage someone therefore it must be banned is simply ridiculous. Everything has danger of varying levels with some child toys being the most dangerous of all.

I did read the article and as I said, that is merely what got me into the topic. I thought about it myself and decided on what I believe now after consideration over the course of months. It IS warped because I was introduced by that paper and my beliefs have changed in some ways while leaving the fundamentals the same or different making it warped or in other words different. My beliefs aren't going to perfectly reflect the beliefs of the author of the paper and are going to seem warped for that reason.
