You could try looking up videos for insomnia that are supposed to help you fall asleep. Or you could try taking nighttime cold medicine.

Only use your bed for sleeping (no reading, homework, eating, etc). Don't use your phone after getting in bed. Try to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every night and morning. Have a routine that you do the same way every night (washing face, brushing teeth, etc). Once you're in bed, lay still and quiet and just let yourself fall asleep. If it's been 15-20 minutes and you aren't falling asleep at all, then try meditating, counting your breaths, or coming up with a story in your head.
A good meditation: focus on your toes, feel them relax and just keep your mind on your toes for a minute. Then, move your focus to your feet and let all the muscles relax. After sitting with that for a bit, move to your ankles and let out all the tension there. Follow the process up your body until you're fully relaxed and likely asleep (I usually nod off somewhere near my stomach) :)

I use weird mind-tricks.
I imagine the surface beneath me tilting, so i feel almost like I'm falling, but not.
I imagine another person next to me, and mind-make the warmth of them there.
I walk down a blank hallway, and add details and paths.
I close my eyes look at the patterns behind my eyelids. Not following them, just looking at one point without focusing on it.
Hope this helps.

That meditation unicycle recommended is a good one. I used to suffer from insomnia and my doctor told me to basically do what unicycle said..she also told me to try Velarian extract. I would take it 3x a day then do my bedtime meditation and about a week and a half later I was able to fall asleep and stay asleep. If you try Velarian I would start with once a day and work up to 3.

Start trying to lucid dream. Whether or not you actually get a lucid dream is unimportant, but it taught me how to wake up and go to sleep much easier than I used to.
