I did! Watching the boosters land was practically like watching a launch in reverse, it was perfect.

Just watched it a moment ago. I had goosebumps all over my body and it was so surreal. My 65+ neighbor told me that it was almost like watching the moon landing again as she did as a teenager. I wonder if someday people will ask me if I saw the launch!

I just watched it. That was freaking awesome. The Falcon Heavy has the ability to take twice the payload as the space shuttle configuation (obviously not with a shuttle strapped to it, since that would throw the balance off) to LEO... and a little under half the total of the Saturn V.... and it's re-usable and absolutely preformed perfectly. That was amazing. I'm sure the implications of this launch will be lost on 90% of the US, but the game has changed. A Falcon Heavy preforming this was just a hope before today. Obviously single Falcons have landed before, but 3 boosters and getting 2 of them to land in sync in damn near the same spot with the 3rd on a barge and coordinating all that? Damn man... Damn. Also, he did it... he put the roadster in space XD

We witnessed history in the making. The process was really amazing, watching this huge ship fly into the blue sky. Than two of the rockets ejecting and landing perfectly simultaneously. The video of them landing I will never forget. Unfortunately the third main rocket ran out of fuel and crashed before it could land properly. Its really amazing how it all happened in under 10 minutes! Now we have surreal, peaceful videos of star man slowly spinning looking back at us than off into the abyss. Star man will outlive us all

And it was so close to being perfect.

I can't even handle all the implications this has for our future space technologies, the entire bulk of our studies and progress has led up to this!!! I'm so freaking pumped! Also, the fact that it can sustain orbit or travel for the foreseeable future is entirely underrated? And c'mon! Reusable?! Seriously i don't know how more people aren't freaking about this! This is an achievement, a milestone! I mean, the plans started in 2004, were unveiled in 2011 and finally, EPICALLY cultivated to this successful launch of a new series, (practically an entirely new technology!) of rocket! :D
