Ah. There’s a lot of leeway as to what can be in a burrito. Common ingredients would be beans, rice, possibly some type of meat like carne asada, lingua, etc; maybe some cheese, various veggies like cubes or diced tomatoes, peppers, onions, some may even do corn- and then possibly sour cream and or guacamole. Usually served in a flour tortilla. These are general guidelines and cultures and locations have their own ways to make burritos. This is a general guide to what you’d find widely if you were to order “a burrito” at a sampling of restaurants, it’s not necessarily traditional or “authentic” to any style. There’s no reason you can’t make a Chili con carne burrito though. Chili verde is a popular burrito option and really the sky is the limit when you are making your own.

My pleasure peachy. I hope you enjoy. The guacamole isn’t necessary and in general is a more commercial style. Here’s my tip for you if you aren’t making your own tortillas: take your flour tortillas and put a little butter, fat, or lard on them. Time it so they come out right when you’re ready to make your burrito and eat- heat them in the over for a little while on not too high a heat (you don’t want them to get stiff at all, just nice and warm enough to absorb that flavor and still be warm when you eat your burrito.) You can also use a microwave but the butter/lard is trickier then and you can substitute lightly damp paper towel between each tortilla to keep them moist and not chewy. You can also heat in a pan or on a griddle but that’s tricky too to keep them flexible. That way your shell is the same temp as the filling and not room temp or cold (if you refrigerate your shells.) a tortilla warmer can help them stay warm longer, but without one foil or a covered dish can do.
