You can literally get a gaming PC with that Budget. Laptops are pretty much useless since integrated graphics and everything is squeezed together. Why laptop?

Lenovo is what I have and it glows red and handles games like overwatch just fine

what kinds of games do you want to play, what is your specific use case, does the budget include peripherals, or are peripherals desired or needed such as an external keyboard or gaming mouse etc? Those could help with reccomendations. I have a work Lenovo that works fine for most things, a personal MacBook Air and pro- all do better at some things and games than others, but I never try to run anything much more than Minecraft on any because well... I think laptops suck for games in every way. But I hear the new X1 isn’t worth your time if you’re looking to game. The battery is good but the capabilities won’t handle really demanding games, and it likely won’t be able to keep up with newer titles as they release in a few years.

I play gta online, large map stelaris with extreme graphics mods, super modded skyrim, etc on my alien-ware. Laptops aren't bad at gaming. Dell, the company that bought alienware, has awful customer service so can't really suggest that but back when I had an
ASUS ROG it ran whatever i tried to play flawlessly and the only problem I ever had with it was something caused the power cable (not the cable's fault most likely a fucked outlet) to break it's limiters which FUCKED the motherboard so hard that it desoldered the port. Laptop gaming is totally plausible and feasible but it does cost a bit extra. I also require having a fully mobile setup for my gaming. Personally what i would recommencement would be to save a bit more for the duration of this month and that of November to get your budget a bit higher and get something from ASUS, MSI, or Razer on either black friday or cyber monday. I got my alienware (dont get an alienware, dell sucks ass) on like 40% off on cyber monday last year

I have an asus that runs everything current fairly easily. It only cost me $1300. I'd recommend looking at them
