Also, (same guest again) the prince DOES get his eyes healed by the princess's tears at the end, those bothered by that one.

To the guy who said that the Rapunzel one is not true, I suppose I can't say for sure that's the very original version since I don't have particularly good memory, but the original book of Grimm's Tales For Young and Old has that version, so it's at least one of the original. (I'm the same guest who posted the original long winded paragraph. But trust me, I left out quite a few.)

My mom never loses these, but all of mine disintegrate in the night or something, and she's always yelling at me about how "I must be the only person who needs an entire new set of these every month" and I just like, "No, really mom, look at the Internet! It's a common problem I swear!"
