I agree with hammerhead here, though you all have trailed off the point. Saying "people say that... people think that..." won't make your argument seem any more solid. No, you think that. Some people may agree but how do you know where's the majority? On the internet it's impossible to tell because some people are just louder than others but that doesn't mean they have more support.
Anyway, agenda or no, it already worked out pretty well with Missy. Also, David Tennant was cast as the Doctor because Eccleston wasn't very popular with the fans. You could say it was an agenda as well. But it turned out to be one of the best, if not the best decision in the history of the show. Every regeneration has the potential to represent an agenda, because the showmakers simply want to appeal to more people. So why is this one the controversial one? I don't know. But I'll judge it when I see it, not before.

The Doctor is a sexless alien. Doctor Who is a show with a time and space travelling police box, cybermen, a plenitude of crazy alien races and wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff. And you have a hard time believing that the Doctor can be a woman? C'mon. Doctor Who is one of the few exceptions where a female character makes sense.
So yeah, I agree with Jack here, I refuse to judge it before I see it. The writing is still going to be done by the same awesome people so I don't believe a female Doctor will screw it up in any way.

Imo it's a lot more complicated than that. For me personally, there's nothing more off-putting than someone who's hot but dumb as a brick or really boring, and I'd rather have a nice conversation than stare at a pretty face for hours.
But really, looks in a way reflect your personality, generally speaking (there are exceptions, people with metabolism/hormone issues for example). Sure, some people are born with a prettier face than others but if you shower once a month, eat junk food all day and never exercise, then a pretty face is useless because you will be unattractive anyway, and it shows a piece of your personality as well, namely your laziness and low self respect.
That's how it is with guys at least. With girls it's even wackier because you can neglect some of these things and compensate it by slapping on some makeup. Idk I'm actually quite hostile towards the makeup industry but I won't say much because I don't want people to get mad at me and also it would be off topic.

Maybe in messenger to girls who are frequently bombarded by messages from guys, or if the guy comes off as trying to flirt right away by starting a conversation with a "Hiiiiiii ;)" text, but definitely not irl. The thing is though, many dudes just stop talking to you when you casually mention your boyfriend. Why can't you continue the conversation? I feel you, in my mother tongue I get stuff wrong all the time. Maybe because some words or phrases just start sounding weird when you repeat them too many times, ya know what I mean? Then you start wondering if that's really the way it's supposed to be said/written but it's too late, everything sounds wrong since that realization.

@hammer Exactly, dairy and fruit is nothing new. Or, speaking of pineapple and ham on pizza which people seem to hate as well, meat and fruit isn't anything new either.

Also according to Warcraft lore, pig people already exist, they're called Quilboar and they're different from Orcs.
In Elder Scrolls I think they are of elven blood but are generally not recognized as elves.

It's a Czech website because I'm Czech. I honestly don't know if our type of hot dog is a thing anywhere else in the world because we actually make a hole in the bun and stuff the hot dog in, instead of the usual slicing the bun and putting the hot dog in the middle, but they're pretty good. The toasted buns make it especially delicious.
