Commenting on something once doesn't mean I'm giving them more relevance than is due. Commentary is a form of social media because you acknowledge something and get to give your opinion or say something about or referring to it, that doesn't mean you're taking it seriously.

My point was that there are groups of people people who are extreme like this, and like the people at rallies who are like " are you uncomfortable because I'm gay ?! Homophobe !!
