I have spent too much time on tumblr but seeing the title cut of after “and” was just as natural to me as the entire title.

Oh why thank you! I know a lot less about the subject that what I would want to tho haha. But yes! Exactly! I hate it when we see a “Viking village” in media and it’s just a bunch of dust, grim and gravel, 2 meter tall blonde men with giant beards that carry around swords and mean expressions. (Just to mention I have nothing against people who practice Christianity today, I’m just bitter about most of our knowledge of the aesir faith is just based on the Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda, and that the Christians at the time tried to influence those collections of stories as well. I mean the premonition at the end of “the death of Baldr” is suspicious.)

Tell me about it! I heard some guy say Norse mythology was “just trolls” and I was pissed! I’ve been to a lot of old Viking villages (been to Birka multiple times, every summer for a few years) and the craftsmanship from these little old trinkets the archeologists found is amazingly intricate and often filled with symbolism of stories about these grand adventures the old gods and mortals went on! They had board games, littérature from all over the world, their tapestry was beautiful. Hell, even after the Christians came and started trying to erase their culture there’s a lot of interesting mythology like skogsrå and näcken (to name the most famous ones)
(Btw while women had a lot more freedom and rights than other societies at the time they were not as advanced as we are today, sure women had a lot of financial influence over the home but she was still expected to be there. There were female Vikings but very few. Or Christians erased that history too, what do I know.)

That’s gotta sting, I know some men put great pride in their beard, but it’s ultimately the safer option so you don’t accidentally infect someone in the risk zone. I can understand the hesitation tho.

It’s mostly colours blooming on a black background but if I really get into a song I can see sceneries, sometimes songs can smell a certain scent or I can feel the wind on my face.

Last party I went to was in a scout house within a gated, government owned area. My sober friend and I left at about eleven (sounds early but the part started at six so that’s still a while) so we could catch a bus. Making it to the gate we realized it was not only closed but chained shut. The only way out was to climb it, about two meters up, definitely not made to be easily climbed. When I had managed to get up on top of it, well... I was very glad I had sobered up a little bit before leaving and that my friend was there in case I punked myself. Always take a little time to sober up before leaving!

Exactly! It’s easier to get exactly what you want when you do it yourself rather than trying to explain it to someone :)))

That’s a good trick! Maintaining an undercut is a chore lol. I can’t donate it unfortunately since it was dyed blue and pretty short to begin with. I used to have a k-pop boy cut before. Do you cut your hair yourself or go to the barber? (Well maybe they haven’t opened the barbers shops yet but let’s just pretend there’s no worldwide pandemic lol)

Me and my best friend have do this. I talk about art and videogames, she talks about floorball and fan fiction. She just got a permanent position in a pretty well off floorball club btw and is going to play in SM (Swedish nationals) in the future! I’m so proud of her :D

Hell, swimming in the ocean or using shampoo with a lot of sulfur damages the hair too. I don’t mind a bit of extra hair care if seeing my hair in the morning makes me happy :)

Oof yeah it’s super important to use good bleach and to know your scalp. My hair is pretty robust so it can stand a bit of bleaching but I am still very careful with it since it can really damage your skin. Manic panic usually have some pretty good dyes and bleach and All of their products are vegan :) I think it’s cool you found a work around like that!
