Way to miss the point

I figured it was Sweden's willingness to forgo individualism and common sense for the sake of creating a nanny state that will punish people for the horrid crime of trying to raise a boy or girl, or, God forbid, letting kids have grit or a spine.

The Turkish government failed to deal with the rapist themselves. In the absence of effective protection or enforcement, it is only natural and right for the common person to take defense and punishment into their own hands.
Turkey is not like the United States, their legal systems and law enforcement are abysmal, and often worse than nothing.

Then they can improve or go out of business. You all know that there's a pretty good chance they'll keep sharing infrastructure, right? It's only good business to take care of your customers. You don't need to worry about good business when there are tax dollars backing whatever you do.

The Turkish authorities weren't doing jack shit. The fault falls on the government in this case. First for abandoning a victim of one of the worst crimes, and then for punishing her for taking a rapist off the streets when they should have.
