@ me or bump this thread, I have friends in all the branches I can ask if you have any questions about them. I believe the Army is best, but it sure ain't for everyone.

Branches you will get to pick your job (granted your ASVAB score is high enough).
I know it was a vague answer, but I will gladly answer any questions you or anyone else has about the Army

I'm not a recruiter, so I won't lie to you.
The Army is the oldest and biggest branch of the U.S. Military. Depending on your MOS, promotion is fast, training is effective and thorough, and the soldiers in your company will become like family.
Basic sucks, and I hear some deployments are fucking terrible, but there's also a very good chance to travel the world and live in the kinds of places most civilians will spend their entire lives dreaming of visiting.
If you allow it, you would be transformed into an exceptional professional at arms, qualified and highly trained in whatever job you pick, with housing, food, and more benefits than you will be able to keep track of.
It would require discipline, though, and a drive to make the best out of every day, as well as steady dedication to being someone worthy of serving this great nation.
We are certainly more disciplined than the Navy and Air Force (they have easier training and looser standards though), and unlike any of the other
