There are and I will use other ways to ensure her safety. Might be unpopular but I won't allow my daughter to date until she is probably 16.

Why not? I believe its my responsibility as a father to care for my daughter. One of those ways is to protect her from guys who would think about taking advantage of her. If by presenting myself this way it makes them think twice about hurting my daughter then good. If it didn't and I have to use it to defend my daughter, then I am prepared and armed and I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

Was the coughing the wrong diagnosis? Or the wrong diagnosis led to the coughing? Or the coughing led to a diagnosis that was wrong? Or the wrong coughing led to the wrong diagnosis? Or the diagnosis wasn't wrong the coughing was wrong, thus making the diagnosis wrong?
