Glad for this kid, but God is good when kids survive? When kids die? God didn't give him cancer, but saved him from it. Not so lucky for others? Guess he wanted them in heaven with him too much, but still didn't give them cancer? Did he not want this kid so much? I suppose he has seriously important things to do on earth. The others were never going to amount to much? Become disbelievers? What if a kid was cured of cancer and ends up killing people? God still good? Just a couple thoughts that spring to mind as regards giving God credit for things. But I am truly happy that this kid has survived a terrible disease. All the power to him and I hope he goes on to great things in life.

I handed a test back to a learner, as he opened the folio there was a cigarette inside. One of mine that rolled into his folio somehow. He was 16 in grade 9, was also a smoker. Without breaking eye contact he pocketed the cigarette, so I just kept handing out tests.

My girlfriend grew up like that, she is afraid of pretty much everything today. Except commitment ofcourse.
