That is true. The Neanderthals had brains bigger than we have, yet they died out quite quickly. Brain size is obviously important but it doesn't automatically make you smarter. It's all about how you train it.
What do you mean this settles an argument? You have to use a proper scientific citation to prove a point and not just pull up some 'all knowing' internetz slide.
I know you did, but this post is, I think, a perfectly logical thing to say. Sure, evolution dictates that bigger brain = better, but in humans the differences are so insignificant that what usually really matters is how you train your brain, not how big it is. And it's not like people with a higher IQ actually have a significantly bigger cranium, or is it?
Actually, a douche I know said that boys have bigger brains and therefore smarter, even though it has been scientifically proven on multiple occasions that girls are usually smarter. So this settles it. (Also it's off of buzzfeedvideo)
