This is a made up plot twist of a tv show called Sherlock. Sherlock Holmes is a detective that solves crimes, and John Watson is his sidekick. In the season 2 finale, Sherlock fakes his death but John thinks he's dead. Sherlock then goes around the world solving cases and letting other people take the credit. Many people were convinced that Sherlock was solving these cases and was still alive. Plot twist part that doesn't actually happen: John tries to lure sherlock back by creating a case and becoming a murderer (that probably no one knew who he was).
