True. Take it from me, I'm probably the biggest Will Smith fan there ever was, and Will Smith's father apparently divorced his mother when he was 13, not abandoning him, but divorcing. Also on this Oprah interview he said he pushed him and he did everything he could to support his family. So yeah, this is a lie.
