This one looks like a Allothereua maculata. It's found in Australia and is a predator of insects and other arthropods, but is generally considered harmless although it does indicate dampness and a lack of ventilation in the house. If you're sane and so don't live in Australia and get the Scutigera coleoptrata version it also eats other insects and spiders and is harmless.
It is indeed a house centipede. I once had a small invasion of these things where I would find at least 1 a day for several weeks. They're really quick and most of all, just plain repulsive.
