My dearest Jillaroo, though I do not live in Australia, nor America, I believe the point that was being conveyed by Miss Lisamarie96 was that if ever there would arise such a circumstance that one's pant zipper would have dropped, and another individual were to warn them, then in Australia they would most likely say "Your zip's down," whereas America would say "Your fly's down." I ask you not to scrutinize others for their points conveyed, and apologize if this comment were to offend you in any manner.
My dearest patronising guest, I am from Australia, and I can assure you that every single person I know says 'your fly is down' or 'your fly's undone'. If you were to follow your own advice of asking people 'not to scrutinize others for their points conveyed', I would suggest not replying to my previous comment, as you were scrutinising mine. Regardless, my point up there was to say that saying the joke didn't work is taking it a bit far, as people in Australia have an understanding that fly = zip. I can sense the downvotes coming, but that's alright, I'm just saying it's a bit hypocritical to scrutinise my comment while telling me it's bad to scrutinise.
