I don't know about either. The father is talking like he's speaking to his daughter rather than his ex. If he spoke like it was to his ex who's typing all that, I'd agree with you. I think the child needs better parents all around.
Yea and apparently he's not completely stepping up as the father of the child but how trustworthy can a person who is crazy enough to make a Facebook page for an unborn person be.
Without knowing the whole background story about why they broke up (to be honest the mother seems to be a few bolts shy of a hardware store, in other words crazy, which could cause a breakup) he may have left her because of an attack or other reasons otherwise not related to pregnancy but would otherwise be a great father given different conditions. Also in cases like this it's recommended (also smart) for the father to leave before starting legal measures toward a custody fight.
He says "I think you will be the best daughter ever if you are mine". This seems to suggest there's some questions over whether he believes the future mother had been cheating on him.
