How I see it a lot of times is people who draw because they love to, don't like their art as much as others and deny when people who don't draw a lot fawn over it.
For me it isn't hard to draw someone, but whenever I would draw someone in my art style they would throw a holy fit that it didn't look like them ( because it was cartoon and stylized) so now I just avoid it all together. And why would someone draw you just because you ask ? I would like something in return since it's taking my time up and I could be drawing something else. ( and let's be honest. It's usually people in school who ask and you're in the middle of class and the teacher will yell if you're doodling )
Don't take it negatively. Just tell yourself there's always room for improvement. So the next time you try to draw you can remember that and you will try harder this time and you will become proud of your work. :)
