Racism is hating a race. Just because you stereotype doesn't mean you hate a race. I'm a white girl. I do go to Starbucks, and I find jokes about white girls to be funny. And I'm sure a lot of black people will find this funny as well. It's not meant to be rude or "racist" it's just meant to be funny. Learn your facts before you start making accusations.
No and NO, read the definition of racisim. You can be racist even if your saying something that seems positive like " all Chinese are good at math". That may seem like a compliment but its racisim. Maybe go do some research into racisim, im sure its not funny for most people to have to fight prejudice, no matter how trivial the prejudice seems, everyday.
Actually racism is based on believing these characteristics (ones you assign a race) are inferior. I'm tired of this argument. To me I do accept nationalities and races have certain similarities, generalizations that I guess can be considered generalizations.
