They are. I was at a crocodilian park and they were saying that the difference is that if you go into the water near an alligator will take a shot at you, where as with crocs, if you within 50m of the water, that fucker is coming for you fast!
Just like that news story from a couple of days ago, that boy who went swimming in america and an alligator attacked him and he hit it on the head and got away. If you were swimming and a crocodile found you you're fucked.
Not true. My dad lived there and they used to come up into people's backyards and eat their pets. You had to keep them locked inside or they would eat them. I have photos somewhere. But that was before cyclone Tracy, so things have probably calmed down by now.
In Darwin there aren't very many crocodiles except for the ones in parks. There are heaps in rivers about 100km away. Occasionally there's one at the beach but that very rare.
Yeah, my best friend's pet rabbits were killed by some. It was rather sad. We are pretty close to the city too. What on earth were they doing down here?
