I make specialty candles... This is a horible idea. Candle wax & crayon wax are two different things and of different melitng point & viscosity. If you want candles that look like this, color blocks, learn how to make candles. There are lots of websites out there. And as for scents, you can go to hobby stores for scents. Essentual oils also work but hobby store scents are made to blend with the wax. Other wise, some scents will pool in little droplets in the wax and they sometimes burn funky. So rather then getting that nice vanilla smell, you get burnt cotton smell.
And remember, wax contracts when cooling so you will never get a square block candle. You'll have divets by the wicks. And if you pour color onto another cooled block, score it first otherwise the second pour of wax won't adhear and you'll have wax chunks that only stay together b/c of the wick.
