This is what happened when the sun was behind the old World Trade Center

I wish I could've seen it in person.
Even the image is absolutely stunning.

I visited Ground Zero 6yrs after that awful day, it was very emotional seeing people placing single roses on the memorial blocks, lighting candles & silent in prayer. NEVER FORGET 9/11 2,977 Souls Cruelly Taken!

It saddens me that that event happened the day I was born

This picture was actually taken before they had finished building the World Trade centre which is why there are gaps and spaces in the buildings.

Not to be mean, kill the mood or anything. But this picture was during the construction of the buildings...

Am I the only one who could go to ground Zero, look at all of the crying people and go get pizza without it bothering me? Yes? No? That's what I thought.
