Double standard

I don't think anyone's praising this?? You shouldn't hurt anyone like this, ever?? But it's probably a more accepted standard because people assume that women are less strong than men (which is usually true), and they think that a woman can't really hurt a man as badly as the opposite. If a man attacked a woman with a golf club, you'd assume she's seriously injured or even dead, but when this happens, all you think is that maybe he's in the hospital, with like a broken arm or something.

Hmm, well I don't know many of my friends that would, my family certainly wouldn't, but I suppose the tweet does suggest that unfortunately you're at least partially correct. I still think it's not such a double standard as other commenters have made it out to be, at least she'll be off the streets (I hope!)
