You fail to mention that Loki is Sleipnir's mother. I can't remember the story exactly, but he wanted something to do with a male horse, and so he disguised himself as a female horse and then got impregnated.
Pssh, people please not only did he sleep with a mythical divine stallion and bear a 8 legged horse/child.... He did it as a favor for Zeus and Thor! And in doing so, he saved the Norse goddess of love, and moon, and the bloody sun! Oh and in edgewise...... This one act saved all of Asgard (domain of the gods) by allowing the legendary walks of Asgard to be built, which protected the lands of the gods even better than Thor could on a good day. Mythology buff to the rescue!
Walls* sorry auto correct. Btw.... You forgot to mention Loki's daughter, Hel. You know.... Half beautiful woman half corpse, ice for blood, icicles for veins..... Lord over the realms of the undead?....
He didn't, the mother was another being born of 'Chaos' (demon spirits) who happen to have some pretty weird offspring, even if they weren't a snake or a wolf themselves. The Jormungand, Hel (female undead ruler of the dead), and Fenrir came from Loki and the same mother.
