Imagine a world where wars were won by the side with more buttons and instead of all the fighting and dying there would be lots of soldiers vigorously counting their buttons or sewing extra buttons on and instead of screams of pain and horror there'd be occasional yelling, like "Hey mate, what the fuck?! I said green thread, GREEN! Brown doesn't go with black buttons, you know that!!"
