That's what happened with the Mike Brown case. The officer got him for J Walking but later said he was a suspect on the robbery, even though no one contacted him before the event occurred.
Wilson wasn't going to arrest him for J-Walking, he was telling Brown to stop walking in the middle of the street. Brown was a suspect of the robbery, and Wilson admitted that he wasn't aware of that at the time, but it doesn't change the fact that Brown attacked Wilson, who is smaller than Brown. All of the evidence pointed at Brown's guilt, and a jury of mixed races ruled Wilson innocent.
By the way, You are really selective with what information you present to someone you think is uninformed.
I heard they were the same size ( weight and height wise, it just hung differently ) the officer had no visible wounds, he even cleaned the gun, which he claimed was grabbed but you aren't supposed to do that. The jury had mostly white people, and everyone that knew Brown said he was nice and sweet and wouldn't attack anyone.
