It genuinely does happen though, and it annoys the crap out of you especially if you were actually in close proximity to the door and they could've saved you a trip to the depot to pick it up which defeats half the purpose of online shopping, and now I'm getting angry about it. ._.
I agree with icyquiet. I've literally watched the UPS person pull up outside, write up a note saying they couldn't reach us BEFORE even getting out of the truck, then stick it to our gate and drive off without ever knocking or ringing a doorbell or anything. Then I gotta go all the way to the UPS depot to get my packages that were supposed to deliver directly to my house specifically because I either didn't want to go to the store to get them or they wouldn't fit in my car. It seriously pisses me off.
Yea none of this lil fairy tickle tapping on the door and then leaving a note saying to come pick it up from the ups store halfway across the city cause 'you weren't home' bullshit.
