Funny how leftists like to point to the 14th amendment as evidence our borders should be wide open, but at the same time they claim the second amendment does not say what it says. Lets, for a moment, take the text of the 14th amendment at face value. Nowhere does it state that the non-citizen families of those born here are automatically given citizenship. Thus; your anchor baby is a citizen, you are not. The child can stay by itself or return home with you and come back as an adult-ALONE. Furthermore, the amendment states that the privileges and immunities of said citizens cannot be abridged without due process of law. Thus, such rights CAN IN FACT be taken away through legal proceedings. Thirdly, this argument is rendered moot if the families of said babies are in the country illegally to begin with. This eventuality brings us back to due process of law.
At this point we have various "Son of Sam laws" which prohibit a criminal profiting from thier crime. Entering the country illegally is a crime, and being allowed to remain here is profit.
Lol dude I think you missed the point. It's that he said the amendment to the constitution is unconstitutional. The constitution (or amendments to it) can't be unconstitutional because unconstitutional means not in accordance with a political constitution, especially the US Constitution, or with procedural rules. The constitution can't be "not in accordance with the constitution." Thanks for the rant, though.
Just for you, danibelle, I scoured the interwebs and looked at every article I could find with a headline saying that Trump said the amendment is unconstitutional. You know what I found? Not A SINGLE ONE of them quoted him saying that the 14th amendment is unconstitutional. They all ran the same headline, but never delivered in the article.
Why is it you leftists can't tolerate facts? Anything that contradicts your narrative must be immediately shut down because you cannot manage to back your extremist positions with valid arguments. What are you afraid of?
