my cat rubs her chin against doors and legs. is that unrelated? (pretty sure it is but i just want the internets opinion lol)

That's completely different they do that because they want affection

It's actually because they have scent glands in their faces, and rubbing things makes them able to "claim" them by leaving their own specific smell on it. My chair, my couch, my human.
