Liar. Dogs don't groom because they don't care about hiding their scent. Dogs roll in the nastiest shit so others can smell them better. Dogs love peeing on everything because everything must know that dog was there. If your dog eats poo, it's probably medical but could be as simple as boredom or curiosity. Dogs are natural scavengers and can develop a taste for poo if not stopped right away. Dogs will eat poo, lose their appetite or vomit from the stress from being "found" by others (e.g. abused dogs), but eating poo would only happen in these situations because the dog is so stressed it can't function properly, not because it's trying to hide it's scent.

This is what I kinda meant, they eat it to hide their scent from the "alpha males" too in some cases (i maybe wrong about the last one, but I've definitely read about that besides cant really speak from experience, never owned a dog)
