This reminds me of a short horror story I read about a guy who got a teddy bear for his daughter but programmed it first with 1000 (?)word vocabulary so it could use words with speech and stuff but anyway it started getting creepy cos his daughter would always talk to it, and if you wanna read the rest, the story is called 'Teddies rule, OK?' But I forgot who it's by and don't know if it's available on the internet
