Or the 13 year old who's in love with her 45 year old teacher - they think the don't harm anyone, but she just don't know any better and will be harmed later in her life
"harm" is a wildly subjective word.
Some mental problems don't harm you in the moment at all, but they will isolate you from society and hurt you in the long run.
I say be allowed to do whatever you want as long as it doesn't interfere with anyone else doing the same. Heavily flawed, I know, but however close we can get looks gold to me.a
