I wouldn't really say a thousand, more like, "Don't be a dick and kill animals for stupid reasons" or even "Wow look at this perfect depiction of human nature"
I really hate how people care so much about making clothing out of fur, but are silent when they get into their leather upholstered car. Either they're both ok or neither of them are.
And then i get downvoted, im not saying fur clothing is ok. People only care about cute and fluffy animals that's why they are so against the fur industry, but i hear very little protest against leather, snake skin, and alligator skin being used in clothing because people don't care
I have a problem with stuff like leather and fur if that's the only reason the animal is killed
If all parts (or as many parts as possible) of the animal are used then that's fine
I dont mind that either, we've been making clothing from animal skin since we've been on this planet. I just think that it's ridiculous that people fight for the furry guys but the animals that aren't so cute don't get the attention.
It would be really difficult to make it illegal, most fur is actually farmed and the conditions in these farms are rumored to be pretty bad. But outlawing fur farming will cause people to poach the wild population instead to sell the fur illegally, the reason wild chinchillas are going extinct.
