But also quality. Yes a 750 pair of shoes is insane but I doubt they will wear out in 6 months.
My husband worked with very rich clients when he was runing his own computer repair buissness. One elder woman would call him all the time and sometimes our daughter at the time 6 would go with him. She for our dughters 7th birthday got her a pair of light up shoes and a few little dolls and such. We thanked her very much telling her she didn't have to bit she insisted. Those shoes lasted till she was almost 9. Turned out they were worth almost 200 bucks. Shocked the shit out of us. She wore them almost everyday. We buy cheap walmart shoes they last 6 months TOP.
So name is just the icing but quality is also a factor.

Depends on the brand. Not all designer brand is quality. I'll just leave it at that - too long to explain.

Sometimes it's worth paying extra for certain brands of items, such as Oakley sunglasses or Ray Bans because they've been tested and use technology to prevent UVA/B rays from penetrating your eyes whereas other brands haven't and have only passed basic safety tests to make them sellable.
Same with audio products.

$200 headphones are usually way better than $60 ones, it doesn't concern brand name. I got a pair of $200 bose headphones for christmas and they have been phenomenol and have lasted longer than any other pair thatI've had
