Who even thought of this? Who convinced other people this was even a thing to try? How is this even remotely an appropriate thing to do? Wtf? I understand the biochemistry of why it works, but that doesn't explain the fucked up psychology of people actually doing it.
I get that it would really help the pain... but wtf, imagine the kid learning their mom was schlicking away while being pushed out, not to mention how awkward it'll be when surrounded by doctors and nurses
