Not necessarily. Venom must be injected, while poisons must be consumed. If it is a protein based venom, it will wreak havoc in the blood stream. However, to drink said venom, your stomach acid would deform the proteins, rendering the venom inert. But something reagent based like hydrogen cyanide is both deadly when injected and when breathed/drunk.
Not only are they very strong and incredibly brave, they're very smart. They find ways to escape captivity all the time and even give beekeepers many problems. Beekeepers are still searching for ways to keep honey badgers from raiding their hives for many years but its proven to be an uphill battle...
