Yeah, I saw the movie first, then the anime, and boy was i still pissed at the movie, which happened to ignore so many rules of the Death Note.

I watched the anime years ago (on box set) I've got the 2 live action Japanese films on DVD and they weren't half as bad as this shit. The ruined Light. RUINED. HIM. NO LUBE.
I mean like definitely agree with you, but there were some parts of it that could have been salvaged to make something thats in the same universe but not the death note we thought we were gonna get
