Story time. I live in central Florida. Last week we had two extremely loud thunder claps, seconds apart. Not normal thunder. Im talking God came down and thumped us in the chest type stuff. Right after the booms, you could hear two jets overhead. Normal right? Na buddy. These guys sounded like Nasguls and I had the One Ring in my pocket. My entire facebook wall lit up with people asking what the hell just blew up and if anybody was dead. Turns out NASA needed to study the effects of breaking the sound barrier over a populated area. Hey NASA, the effect is my cat is still glued to the ceiling.
It was cool after the fact that the news said it was a satellite launch for SpaceX. Before that I thought were were being attacked by some Star Trek Alien sh!% and were going to die.
