We deserve dogs

This is what I’ve been saying all along, we fucking made dogs

This is true but I feel that the meaning of "we don't deserve dogs" is that we are such aholes towards each other that a dogs affection towards us is appreciated and forever indebt to them for their loving nature. In short words a dogs love is unconditional and to us that is beyond anything we can give in return.
