I just went to get my eye exam. They quoted me 390$ FOR JUST THE LENSES. Plus another probably 150-200$ for bloody frames. Costco on the other hand quotes me 179.99$ for lenses and around 50-150$ for frames. Remember kids, if you need to get a prescription filled, Costco legally has to let you in to fill it even if you don't have a membership (they are the cheapest in the city for drug prices; doesn't work for glasses though).
Go to zenni optical online after you get your script. Make sure they measure pupillary distance though! We get replacement glasses for my kids through there and they run us about 15-30/pair every two-three months. (Kids are rough on shit...) I am way okay spending 90-180/year for multiple pairs of glasses with different styles for their weirdo personalities vs 350/pair for a pair the frames they’re stuck with for two years. Ugh.
