The point was that the guy got fucked because he was a guy. It's not about fit. You should hire the best person for the job. Just because some perv wanted to hire a bit-of-flavor doesn't mean some guy should get the shaft. The point you make about fitting in is a very good point. On the other hand, going by qualifications he may have been discriminated against. Yeah, probably an ass cry baby anyway. Most guys wouldn't waste the time tied up with court and move on to find something else.
I have no idea. But I damn sure wouldn't want to have to pay a lawyer and court fees and 300,000.00 Euro to find out I hired a slightly less qualified person regardless of their gender. And these people did.Fit be damned.
Maybe he was more academically qualified but that's not the only reason people get hired. It's possible she was more friendly, worked better with teams, ect..
