A single round of random ammunition from any point in the game. Is it great, is it crap? will you farm me to try and get more?

I will drop something that looks really dull and that will make you think that it isn't important but, it would be one of the key things in the missions that would come after 2-3 missions.
I'll drop something shiny that looks like it will be part of some cool quest. Once you pick it up, however, it will lock in to your inventory taking up space/weight, and never be useful for anything. You're going to be carrying it for the rest of your life, though.
Or just something extremely rare/valuable that they could have traded you for, but since they killed you instead it's visible to everyone but can't be picked up
