Some meat industry documentaries only show illegal activities or the worst of the worst. So be careful what you watch because depending on who made it an agenda could be being pushed.
The point is that companies lie. Nobody can point to a pack of meat in the supermarket and say "This animal was killed humanely" with absolute certainty. This is why I have problems with eating meat. However, if I know that the animal was killed humanely, and every single part of the animal went to use, then I'd have no problems. It's the one thing I can appreciate about the philosophy of Garret Jacob Hobbs from the Hannibal TV series.
