I am too, thinking back on it, as I often do, I realize I was nothing but too good to her and for her. I guess finally giving in and getting the therapy I've needed for this is beginning to help me. I don't blame myself for what happened anymore it was just the natural conclusion to a dead end relationship. Well one of the ends anyhow, the other one would've been her killing me and probably our child as well.

Jesus Christ man. What happened to her after everything came out? Jail time? Asylum?
One day in jail, the day of the particular incident that ended our relationship. In a nutshell she chased me almost 900 feet across my property with a pocket knife cut my left hand up about a dozen times (I was defending not attacking, never hit her once in our relationship even though she was persistently abusive) in the meantime our then infant was alone in our house and her then 5 year old was following her the whole time. She lost custody save for state (child protection) observed visits. All of this was because I decided to take a walk and check on a family owned bee hive. She should've been locked up and her whole family has mental issues (her younger brother shot his truck with a gun because it broke down and dented a fridge with his bare hand).
Kicked her out, we lived in a house owned by me, her parents live 30 miles away and she's lived with them every since, not saying I didn't install and undisclosed amount of cameras and a backup power source for the system afterwards. needless to say nothing can move within 300 feet of my house without me being alerted regardless of where I am.

Ah. That's relieving but you hadn't had any incidents with her since, did you?
Before I got the cameras installed, I had a sharpened bolt (machine bolt so it would've been flat ended it was ground to a point) placed in the tread on the top of my car tire and since that car was critically disabled by a snapped timing belt its not like I moved the car to pick up that object, and the same night as the bolt appearing I had the word 'die' show up on my front door in red permanent marker. Couldn't prove she did it but the writing on my door matched hers. Since then though other than dragging my name through the dirt and trying to get me fired from every single job I've had in the last few years it's been too quiet.

Why don't you skip town or state? Go to someplace calm and new?
I just inherited the family farm and want to go into business running a greenhouse, besides this is the only home my son has ever known and I want him to grow up here. She knows shit (among other things) will fly if I catch her or any member of her family on my property.
