As @klymaxx mentions, worth can be much higher, and there are qualifications. It’s also important to note that most any reputable sperm bank will have a rigorous screening and requirements list for donors. You can’t simply stroll in whenever you want and “make a deposit” either. You’ll have to observe a schedule that includes instructions for what you can and cannot do in your personal time. Becoming a sperm donor can be almost like having a full time job in the amount of commitment and effort as well as the requirements that must be met and the competition against other hopeful donors.

It depends what country you live in also. If I remember right some countries made it illegal to compensate men for donations. The logic behind this I can't remember
